try and lessen the effect by rubbing along
the grain with very fine wire wool and
wax over
- When polising your furniture use a wax
based polish and once in a while re-wax
it.

- The beech worktops need re-coating with
Danish Oil to keep their performance level
to the maximum.
- Do not leave water in the drainer grooves
as this will penetrate the oil and cause
discolouration to the worktop, ensure
you wipe down after every use to extend
the life of the worktop.

- New pieces of furniture may initally
appear lighter than existing pieces. This
is due to the timbers' ageing process.
As pine grows older the colour becomes
deeper and richer, it is the action of
light and air on the wood and we call
this process mellowing. Some areas of
the wood will colour more than others
to form a unique piece of furniture.
- If you look after your furniture it
will last you a lifetime.
